Pizza Sauce by Heather Villaret
Ingredients
- 5 cn italian style tomatoes
- 10 clv garlic
- 1 onion (minced)
- 1 c red wine
- 1⁄4 c brown sugar
- 1 basil
- 1 bn flat leaf parsely
Instructions
Puree tomatoes in blender.
Saute garlic and onions until soft, then stir in tomatoes. Add red wine, brown sugar, salt and pepper (to taste). Reduce until pizza sauce consistency. Add fresh basil and parsley during last 5 minutes of cooking if you use dried basil and with other seasonings.
